I thought I'd start a new trend here for Wednesday's blog theme... Weight loss Wednesday. This is going to be a theme to help you and others. If you are currently trying to lose weight, then send us your link to your blog or comment here about how you are doing with your goals this week. If you are currently not trying to lose weight, but more about maintaining health and wellness in your life and family, then simply post your tip of the week for others to read. Since that's my path, I'll be posting a tip every Wednesday. Hope that they are helpful! :) I look forward to reading every one's comments! Also, don't forget the Body Life Works giveaway... you don't want to miss out on that!
Tip of the Week: Eat Breakfast. Every. Single. Day. And not just a granola bar... a GOOD breakfast!! Seriously, people! It is true what they say. It boosts your metabolism, gets your body going for the day. Don't skimp out on this meal. I look forward to breakfast everyday and my breakfast is usually somewhere between 300-400 calories.

It's lose not loose. :)
I'm still trying to get the last 5 pounds of my baby weight off! I agree about breakfast, very important!

My tip is to make sure you are getting enough calories. If you don't get enough you actually will not lose weight because your body stores what you are getting as fat. It's the bodies way of trying to survive.
I need to get better about this.
I typically serve my daughter yogurt and/or a bowl of cereal, but sometimes I "skimp" when it comes to my own nutrition because I'm busy and tired and holding a baby.
What healthy breakfast options do you recommend? What do you usually eat for breakfast?
Stephanie--
I eat one of two things almost every morning:
Breakfast #1: 1/2c oatmeal, 2 egg whites and 1 tsp natty pb with a touch of splenda and cinnamon all cooked together! Topped with 1/2c blueberries.. yummm I look forward to it every day!
Breakfast #2: sometimes I am in the mood for a chaange.. or I'm in a hurry ... 2 kashi waffles and coffee with whey protein mixed in.. this is a good one on my way to work.
