Some Goood Skin

I like sales and good deals. But there are definitely some things that I tend to buy the best of the best, even if the price tag is higher. Camera gear is one for obvious reasons and the other things are hair and skin products. I usually call my self a product "ho" because I tend to love trying new ones but usually only like the expensive ones, haha! I always blame my mother who started me off on Clinique when I was only 10 years old.;)

Anyway, the skin care line that I use now, and have used for many years going is Arbonne. I love them. Their products are all natural, do not have any artificial fragrances or chemicals. I cannot speak higher of their Re9 skincare line-- and they are also a wonderful company. I get asked what skincare I use often, so here I'm putting it out there for all of you to see! My friend Marcy, who I buy all of my Arbonne products from is currently offering a sale for the month of November. She is offering 50% off any skin care set an 35% off any other order. That is something to be thankful for! Be sure to hit her up if you need some skin care products! Her website can found HERE.

Rainy Day Blues

Ugh I hate rainy days!! At least ones that I feel like I could be much more productive if it weren't raining. Before I was a Mom, rainy days didn't bother me as much.  I would enjoy the time to sleep in, cuddle with my hubby, or read a book. But now as a Mom, I'm not as much intrigued by these rainy days, haha. Its a PAIN the pa-too-ty to run errands in the pouring down rain with a 7 month old. It just is. I don't want her to get sick, trying to manage a cart, keep her dry (and happy) and not get completely soaked myself just doesn't sound like fun. So Bella and I are staying in today despite the list of errands I want to run. So this rainy day has gotten me to think. What things as part-time or full-time stay at home moms do to keep themselves sane on rainy days? What things do you do with your kids on rainy days? Bella is only 7 months old, so she discovers new play items everyday which is really fun. She is starting to crawl and stand supported, so we do a lot of that. This morning was fun because Megan came over with her tiny one, Anastasia, and I helped Megs start an exercise plan. But now my afternoon plans of errands to Walmart (to get my .24 cents/can diced tomatoes and Kashi granola bars on sale) , Walgreens and library are on hold. I suppose I could do more laundry, or dishes or workout myself. But there is always something about the rain that makes me less motivated in general!

So on this rainy day, I encourage all of you to do something for yourself and if you have kids, good luck today! ;o)
